Stella’s Story

We adopted our greyhound Stella in March 2024. You might recognise her from the photo from Lesley's "A Trainer's Story" wearing her pink collar.

The adoption process was very supported. We contacted BTG via FB and they matched us with Stella. Lesley kindly dropped Stella off to us for an initial meet and greet and then adoption a few weeks later. Stella had typical greyhound/rehoming issues - food refusal, freezing on walks, indoor accidents, chewing furniture. Admittedly we were also anxious first time dog owners!

Angela was so kind and extremely patient to answer all our questions in the first few months. One year on and she’s settled in wonderfully. We are completely smitten with her. She has a wonderful happy-go-lucky temperament and lots of quirks - she’s a clumsy goofball (probably explains why she never raced!) and loves to steal socks.

We are so grateful to the BTG team and all their hard work. If you are considering adding a dog to your family we cannot recommend BTG enough!
